Sure, Chrome offers to save your passwords. But anyone with access to your device—or malware that extracts browser data—can see them in plain text. Even worse, people store them in notes apps, spreadsheets, or email drafts.
That’s a goldmine for hackers and one of the first things they look for during a device breach.
Fix: Only store passwords in encrypted password managers. Avoid plain text storage at all costs.
